For over 30 years, Bob’s Discount Furniture has made a commitment to support the local communities where we do business. We are grateful for our partnerships with so many charities and nonprofits, enabling us to give back from coast to coast. Through the year, we support these organizations with furniture donations, Random Act of Kindness giving, volunteering, and collaborations. We’re kicking off the season of giving with a big Bob’s “THANK YOU” to our community allies.
Café Collections for a Cause
Bob’s and our guests supported Covenant House in 2023.
Thank you to our guests for contributing to our Café Collections for a Cause fundraising. Every quarter we collect your donations in our on-the-house cafés coast to coast and match your contributions dollar-for-dollar to support non-profits serving every community. This year Bob’s is proud to support: CMN Hospitals, Special Olympics, Covenant House and Operation Homefront.

Teaming Up for Good

Bowie Food Pantry accepts a $2,500 donation during the Grand Opening in Bowie, MD.
During every Bob’s store opening and throughout the year, Bob’s gifts Random Act of Kindness checks to help organizations throughout the country. Every year we ask our guests to nominate non-profit organizations for our 12 Days of Giving campaign where we donate $12,000 through our Random Act of Kindness program to organizations picked by you!

Hunger Relief
Bob’s supports hunger relief through participation in meal packing events and direct contributions to hundreds of food banks across the country.

Home to Love
Because Bob’s knows a comfy sofa is more than just a piece of furniture, we’re proud to donate furnishings to those in need to help make houses into homes. This year, we contributed to room makeovers for pediatric cancer patients, furnished entire house for families in need, supported transitional living spaces, and made family visitation rooms welcoming and relaxing. Bob’s recently provided furniture for a U.S. veteran and her new baby.
