Bob’s Discount Furniture wants to thank our generous guests for contributing to the Café Collection for a Cause fundraiser to benefit Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals. Bob’s is honored to make a $48,000 donation to CMN Hospitals by matching all funds collected in store Cafés from January 1 through March 31. Since partnering with CMN Hospitals two years ago, Bob’s is proud to have contributed more than $100,000 to local member hospitals.
“Bob’s is grateful to every guest who visited our store Cafés or contributed online, enabling us to make this meaningful contribution to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals,” said Communications and Community Outreach Director, Lindsay Ruszczyk. “When we partner with the communities where we do business, we feel we are making the biggest impact for those we are proud to serve every day.”
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada, helping make sure every child receives the best possible care. member hospitals decide how to use these funds, ensuring the most urgent needs are met.

During the three-month fundraising campaign, local member hospital ambassadors visited Bob’s store locations to meet staff and share about their mission. Bob’s in Erie, Pennsylvania was fortunate enough to have a special visit from the 2023 Miracle Child, Aubrey, who was treated at her local member hospital, AHN Saint Vincent Hospital.
Additionally, Bob’s employees supported CMN Hospitals during the fundraising campaign by hosting the second annual “Jersey Day” coinciding with Superbowl LIII. Employees in stores, distribution centers and the corporate headquarters wore their favorite sports team jersey and donated to the Café Collection.
The three-month fundraising campaign culminated with a ceremonial check presentation for Children’s Hospital of Orange County, a member local hospital of CMN Hospitals in California.
As part of the celebration, Bob’s was honored to furnish the CHOC NICU Staff Respite Lounge with two relaxing massage chairs, a swivel glider chair, end tables and artwork.
