Random Acts of Kindness Day is here, and Bob’s is celebrating all year long!
This year, Bob’s will give over $125,000 in Random Acts of Kindness donations to nonprofit organizations and schools serving the communities where we do business.
With every store we open, Bob’s gives two, $2,500-Random Acts of Kindness donations to a nearby nonprofit, school, or civic organization supporting the community. Bob’s also gives Random Acts of Kindness donations during our annual 12 Days of Giving holiday program, in support of our Diversity, Equality, Inclusion, and Belonging Group, and to other worthy partners throughout the year.
“Surprising local schools and community organizations with Random Acts of Kindness is a unique way Bob’s gives back,” said Lindsay Ruszczyk, Director of Communications and Community Outreach. “We value being good corporate citizens and we are honored to make these unexpected but meaningful donations to so many worthy organizations.”
Scott Neely, Director of Development for Rodman for Kids received a Random Acts of Kindness donation during Bob’s Grand Opening in Franklin, Mass. “When we got the phone call from Bob’s Discount Furniture we were jumping with joy,” said Neely. “We are thrilled to be associated with such a great company,” he added.
In addition to the Random Acts of Kindness donations, Bob’s is proud to support our communities through our quarterly Café Collection for a Cause program, in-kind donations, volunteering, and financial contributions. Along with Bob’s Community Foundation, Bob’s give more than $2.75 million every year to those in need.
