12 Days Of Giving

For a fourth consecutive year, I am so excited that Bob’s Community Outreach team will offer its “Days of Giving” campaign aimed at supporting community organizations around our stores. As part of this year’s campaign, 12 charities or non-profits will be selected to receive a $1,000 donation check from Bob’s. I may be just a little spokespuppet but I am asking for some big help from Bob’s employees and customers to nominate charities that they feel passionate about ! Nominations must be received by 11:59PM on November 14^th. Selected charities, and their nominators, will be notified via email and announced on Bob’s Facebook page December 12th-23rd.

Del 1 al 14 de noviembre, el equipo de alcance comunitario de Bob’s Discount Furniture aceptará nominaciones de los clientes y empleados de Bob’s para que organizaciones benéficas sean consideradas para recibir una donación de $1,000 de la comunidad de Bob’s! Organizaciones benéficas seleccionadas, y sus nominadores, serán notificados a través de correo electrónico y anunciado en la página de Facebook de Bob’s del 12 al 23 de diciembre.

Terms & Conditions

• Bob’s Outreach team and members of the leadership team will review submissions and decide which charities and non-profits will receive a donation check.
• As part of the submission you are being asked to provide your full name, email address, phone number, the charity you are nominating, whether you’re a Bob’s employee, the website of the charity you are nominating as well as a short explanation of what this charity means to you. 
• One submission per person.
• Charities must meet the IRS’s definition for a 501(c)(3) organization (Public Charities).
• External sources such as CharityNavigator.org or Guidestar.org may be used to verify an organization’s 501 (c) (3) status.
• If your submission is selected, you and the nominated charity may be tagged on our social media channels. We also reserve the right to use your name and the photo along with a short description of why you nominated the charity on social media, our blog, and other communication channels.
• If you submit a photo that includes specific individuals (example: you and loved one), please ensure you get permission for us to use the photo on our social media channels.
• Based on their comfort level, employees may elect to present the check to the charity in-person and obtain a photo of the check presentation for future use by Bob’s. For social media followers, Bob’s will notify you via email that your charity was selected and will send the check directly to the charity with information on who nominated them.

• El equipo de divulgación de Bob’s y los miembros del equipo de liderazgo revisarán las presentaciones y decidirán qué organizaciones benéficas y sin fines de lucro recibirán un cheque de donación.
• Como parte del envío, se le pide que proporcione su nombre completo, dirección de correo electrónico, número de teléfono, la organización benéfica que está nominando, si es un empleado de Bob’s, el sitio web de la organización benéfica que está nominando, así como una breve explicación de lo que esto caridad significa para ti.
• Solo una presentación sera aceptada por persona.

Según su nivel de comodidad, los empleados de Bob’s pueden optar por presentar el cheque a la caridad en persona y obtenener una foto de la presentación del cheque para uso futuro de Bob’s.
