Nick Boyett was in for quite a surprise when he woke up on the morning of November 30.
A Green Bay Packers fan, Nick had no idea who would be visiting his house later in the day.
And boy was he surprised!
In spirit with the mission of Giving Tuesday, Bob’s Discount Furniture teamed up with the Green Bay Packers and Operation Homefront to donate mattresses to military families in the Green Bay area.
Bob’s Discount Furniture, Packers representatives and Operation Homefront spent most of Giving Tuesday distributing mattresses and putting smiles on faces.
Jarrett Bush helped put a smile on Boyett’s face when the former cornerback showed up at his house to assist with the mattress donation.
“It was a great surprise,” said Boyett.
Bush – whose father and brother were both in the military – showed his appreciation for the Boyett family.
“I think spreading kindness is what the world needs most today, especially following the pandemic and giving to the military families is definitely along that path to doing so,” Bush said.
