5 Tips to Holiday the Bob’s Way

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…which can also be the most stressful time of the year, but not if you holiday the Bob’s way! I’ve got tips and tricks to make everything from big holiday meals to home decoration to gift giving easy as pie.

1. The Hostess with the Mostest

Avoid the decor dizzies

Holiday decorating can be overwhelming! I like to choose three areas to focus on to give my home a festive feel and minimize holiday cleanup. Good areas to focus your holiday decor are dining tablescapes, fireplace mantles, stair banisters, entryways, and window sills. Choose 3, pick a color scheme, and call it quits when it stops being fun!

Entertain like a boss

Hosting holiday dinners is way easier when you have a dining set that suits your needs! Extendable dining gives you options if your party suddenly grows. Storage dining helps keep all your seasonal linens organized and ready at hand. And good dining chairs make long dinners comfortable…physically comfortable….I can’t help you with your uncle’s long tangents on Area 51 and the moon landing. You’re on your own for that.

Get cozy

So much of the holidays are spent in the living room—football games, holiday movies, opening presents! Having a living room that you look forward to spending time in makes the holidays comfy and cozy—and who doesn’t love that? Make sure your living room fits your family. Living room sets can do a lot more than they used to—storage, power recline, and guest sleeping arrangements. Get what you need!

2. Take the Guesswork Out of Gift Giving

All about comfort

Give the gift of comfort. Everyone loves to rest and relax and with my everyday low prices, you can afford a big gift without breaking the bank. My recliners start at $299!

All about style

Give the gift of style. Make a big impact with a style-forward gift. Whether they love the farmhouse look or dig vintage vibes, I’ve got gorgeous gifts they’ll swoon for.

Go for the gift card

If you’ve got decision paralysis—go for a gift card! Gift cards are an easy way to guarantee your loved ones get exactly what they want.

3. Avoid the Holiday Crowds

The holidays are for family…not 3 am wakeups, long lines, and throwing elbows to get the best gift. Find your inner retail peace at Bob’s. Shop when you want, where you want—online or in-store, and know you’re getting quality furniture for an affordable price every day of the year.

4. Banish Buyers Remorse

Furniture shopping can be confusing when different stores have similar items for wildly different prices. When you shop at Bob’s you can banish buyer’s remorse and know that you’re getting quality furniture with all the bells and whistles for a fraction of what other retailers charge. Go big on style, quality, and comfort—not cost.

5. Share the Love

The holidays are a great time to give back to the community and make a local, national or global impact with your giving. If you have a local charity or non-profit you’d like to send some love to, you can nominate it here for Bob’s 12 Days of Giving campaign. If selected, they will receive a Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) check from Bob’s!

I hope these 5 tips help make your holidays merry and bright! We want to make Bob’s a safe space this holiday season where family comes first. Happy holidays from ours to yours!

Bob

I consider myself the luckiest spokespuppet ever because I get to talk about the thing I love the most everyday – furniture! Tufted headboards, rustic finishes, the difference between a sofa and a couch (yes, there is a difference)… I could go on and on. Oh, I just love furniture and I’m SO excited that I have this blog to share my passion with you! It may take me a little longer to create posts – have you ever tried typing with clay hands – but I look forward to talking furniture with you!
