Think Warm Thoughts!

With the holidays behind us, now all we have to look forward to are a few cold months. Sounds gloomy, but don’t worry! I’m here to help you get through it with a friendly winter weather PSA.

PUPPETS DO NOT MAKE GREAT KINDLING!

Instead of side-eyeing my wooden limbs, here’s a few warm ideas.

Snuggle Up!

Grab someone cuddly, be it your partner, kids or favorite spokes puppet, and settle in on a cozy loveseat, chaise or sofa.

Hibernate

If it’s good enough for the bears, then it’s good enough for a puppet. With a carefully curated collection of blankets, pillows and sheets, you’ll find enough layers to keep you warm. Still not enough? Check out my weighted blanket. It keeps you warm AND has added benefits that will help you get a restful nap in.

Pass the time with projects

If weighted blankets aren’t your thing, perhaps this chunky knit blanket tutorial will do the trick. It will help pass the time and keep you warm!

Sit by the fire

My electric fireplaces are filled with features like media storage and speakers. Plus they put out warmth for the whole room and don’t require kindling or any clean up.

More S’Mores!

Bring a campfire favorite indoors with this special treat. Read Carolina’s guide to putting together your own smores board.

A hot cup of coffee

If you’re in need of something warm and a bit stronger, perhaps this DIY coffee bar will do the trick!

Bob

I consider myself the luckiest spokespuppet ever because I get to talk about the thing I love the most everyday – furniture! Tufted headboards, rustic finishes, the difference between a sofa and a couch (yes, there is a difference)… I could go on and on. Oh, I just love furniture and I’m SO excited that I have this blog to share my passion with you! It may take me a little longer to create posts – have you ever tried typing with clay hands – but I look forward to talking furniture with you!
