I was honored to celebrate the opening of the brand-new store in Bangor, Maine by presenting two Random Acts of Kindness checks!

The first check for $2,500 was presented to Chris Olsen, the founder of Welcome to Housing Home Goods Bank in Bangor. The goal of the organization is to help individuals, including veterans and families succeed as they transition from area shelters to permanent housing by providing basic household items donated through the local community. They also help people experiencing other life disruptions.Led by Olsen, Welcome to Housing assists clients of more than 60 agencies and organizations.

Bob

I consider myself the luckiest spokespuppet ever because I get to talk about the thing I love the most everyday – furniture! Tufted headboards, rustic finishes, the difference between a sofa and a couch (yes, there is a difference)… I could go on and on. Oh, I just love furniture and I’m SO excited that I have this blog to share my passion with you! It may take me a little longer to create posts – have you ever tried typing with clay hands – but I look forward to talking furniture with you!
