Have you heard of Giving Tuesday Now?
#GivingTuesdayNow is a global day of giving and unity taking place on May 5 that was created as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.
When my friends at the Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) asked the Bob’s team if we’d team up with them to fund-raise on #GivingTuesdayNow, I gave them an enthusiastic puppet thumbs-up!
While we’ve all been impacted by the pandemic, the fact is, the patients and families that JAF and many of our other non-profit partners are being disproportionately hurt. With their immune systems already weakened from treatment, cancer patients face a higher risk of possible infection from the virus. The financial hardship faced by most cancer patients and their families before COVID-19 has ballooned under the economic instability caused by the pandemic.
This GivingTuesday Now partnership will provide the opportunity for JAF supporters to come together as a united community to make a real difference. Bob’s has committed to being JAF’s matching gift partner for the day, which means we’ll match every donation up to $25,000. Together, we will help to ensure that cancer patients who are being directly impacted by this pandemic won’t have to worry about housing, food, or transportation.

If you have another cause you feel passionate about, consider joining the #GivingTuesdayNow movement. Even if you aren’t able to donate, consider other ways to “give”: Share kindness with your neighbors, show gratitude to healthcare workers, service providers, and other essential workers, or use social media to spread the word about GivingTuesday Now!

On June 8, 2020 , a fire occurred in apt 437.
In kindness I thought of your good quality furniture, yes because I can vouch for your quality as a buyer and feeling overly satisfied with the quality of Bob you are the man!!!
I am hoping you can contribute to assist 8 families who were. Affected with the fire The water caused damage to the 437 down and parallel to across the other line.
I am hoping your community’ giving can reach my neighbors and their mattresses can be replaced with dry good quality mattresses.
