Bob’s Discount Furniture Announces Partnership with Operation Homefront

I’m excited to begin a new partnership with Operation Homefront, a national nonprofit that serves America’s military families. Operation Homefront will be our newest Café Collections for a Cause recipient for the fourth quarter! That means that every customer donation made in Bob’s complementary Cafés from October through December will be matched by Bob’s Charitable Foundation and donated to Operation Homefront.

Additionally, the support from Bob’s Outreach Program will help fund other programs such as Holiday Meals For the Military (HMFM) and the Homes on the Homefront (HOTH) housing program.

We’ll make a really stellar team because I know how much both organizations want to help military families thrive in the communities they’ve worked so hard to protect.

To kick-off the new partnership, we presented a check for $18,000 towards Operation Homefront’s Back-To-School-Brigade program which will be used to purchase and distribute much-needed school supplies and backpacks to military children in the Northeast as they return to school for the 2019-2020 school year

After receiving the donation John shared, “We are absolutely thrilled to begin our partnership with Bob’s Discount Furniture as their very generous support allows us to provide a wide range of highly valued programs to help our military families who are struggling to make ends meet. I know Bob’s entire team shares our unwavering commitment to giving those who have done so much for all of us the opportunity to thrive in the communities – OUR communities – they have worked so hard to protect.”

While John was thrilled to meet Mike and the Outreach team, I could tell it was really me that he was excited to see. But because I couldn’t attend the event in person, the two teams huddled around my statue in the Café for a great photo op!

Bob

I consider myself the luckiest spokespuppet ever because I get to talk about the thing I love the most everyday – furniture! Tufted headboards, rustic finishes, the difference between a sofa and a couch (yes, there is a difference)… I could go on and on. Oh, I just love furniture and I’m SO excited that I have this blog to share my passion with you! It may take me a little longer to create posts – have you ever tried typing with clay hands – but I look forward to talking furniture with you!
